Job summary

Irving Independent School District is seeking an Elementary Math Specialist to support curriculum and instruction district-wide in Irving, Texas. You will coach teachers, align the written curriculum with state standards, and analyze data to drive student achievement.

The role requires a Texas teaching certificate, a Bachelor's degree, and preferably a Master’s degree. This is a full-time, exempt position with the 187+8 duty days and Chapter 21 contract eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required; Valid Texas teaching certificate in assigned content area.
• Experience with STAAR, RtI, and district curriculum.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in curriculum design and alignment across content areas.
• Provide instructional coaching and timely feedback to teachers.
• Observe classrooms and support intervention delivery.
• Participate in data analysis discussions to guide district support.
• Design and facilitate professional learning at campus and district levels.
