Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Create accommodation plans reflecting students' learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA policies and district regulations.
• Plan instructional strategies and materials for diverse learning needs.
• Assess student learning styles and use results to guide instruction.
• Collaborate with special education teachers for IEP adherence.
• Supervise teacher aide(s) and volunteers.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Establish parent conferences and maintain professional relationships.
• Participate in staff development and district meetings.
