Job summary

Responsibilities include delivering standards-based instruction, assessing student progress, and collaborating with staff to support diverse learners in a dynamic classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or required training.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• One year of student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Present material following TEA guidelines and school policies.
• Plan and use varied instructional strategies to meet student needs.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Assign and supervise teacher aides and volunteers as needed.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Communicate with parents and maintain professional relationships.
• Participate in staff development and adhere to regulations.
