Ardor Health Solutions seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a middle school assignment for the 2026-27 school year. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, with a schedule from 7:15am to 3:15pm, Monday through Friday, in Charlotte, NC.

Job description

Job Summary (Special Education Teacher Middle School, 2026-27 School Year):

• Full-time special education teaching position for middle school (self-contained, mild-moderate caseload)
• Assignment runs ASAP through June 4, 2027 (37.5 hours/week; Monday-Friday, 7:15am-3:15pm)
• Hourly pay: $46-49/hour (W-2), based on experience
• Requires a bachelor's degree or higher
• Must hold a valid NC special education teaching certificate
• Experience in special education settings required (resource/self-contained classrooms, 1:1, externalizing behaviors)
• Experience with IEPs, lesson planning, and collaboration with faculty and parents
• Strong desire to connect with students
