Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Resource Teacher for a full-time, on-site role in Boulder, CO. You will support middle school students with specialized instruction, develop and manage IEPs, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Starting August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year, you will help create an inclusive learning environment, monitor progress, and coordinate annual and reevaluation meetings while working within a supportive district and strong

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Special Education Generalist license or application in process (CDOE).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress.
• Provide specialized instruction across academics, behavior, SEL, and executive functioning.
• Coordinate IEP meetings (annual, initial, reevaluation) with teams and families.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, related services, and families.
• Collect and analyze assessment data to guide instruction and eligibility decisions.
