Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher to support middle school students in Boulder, CO. You will develop and manage IEPs, provide specialized instruction, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to create an inclusive learning environment.

You will hold a Valid Colorado CDE Special Education Generalist license (or be in process) with a Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education, and you should have at least 1 year of classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Ability to collect and analyze assessment data to guide instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction in academics, behavior, SEL, and executive functioning.
• Deliver research-based interventions based on student needs.
• Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation and progress reports.
• Coordinate annual, initial, and reevaluation IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
