Qualifications

• Colorado Department of Education Special Education Generalist license or application in process.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of classroom experience.
• Flexible team player.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams & students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction in academics, behavior, social-emotional learning, and executive functioning.
• Deliver research-based interventions based on individual student needs.
• Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation and progress reports.
• Coordinate annual, initial, and reevaluation IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Collect and analyze assessment data to guide instruction and eligibility decisions.
• Foster a safe, equitable, and supportive learning environment.

Position Details: Middle School Caseload: Resource & Multi-Intensive Full-Time, 1.0 FTE Starting September 2026 for the entire school year

Hello Resource Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Resource Teacher to support middle school students in Boulder, CO. What You'll Do
