Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year to support a dedicated virtual SLP and provide in-person services to a middle school caseload of 35-40 students near Tacoma, WA.

This contract offers a school-based schedule aligned with the academic calendar, 32.5 hours per week, and opportunities for professional growth as you help foster speech and language development in a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications

• Active Washington SLPA license, or willingness to obtain one.
• Current or obtainable fingerprint clearance through OSPI
• Experience with middle school-aged students preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team including remote professionals

Responsabilités

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as planned and supervised by the virtual SLP
• Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
• Adapt activities and materials to individual student needs and abilities
• Communicate regularly with teachers and staff to facilitate carryover of speech and language strategies in the classroom
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Connaissances
