Job summary

KIPP North Carolina is seeking a Lead Teacher to join a network of eight college-preparatory public charter schools in NC. You will implement district-adopted curricula, deliver instruction aligned with NC standards, and maintain data-driven records to monitor student progress.

You will build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues, participate in professional development, and contribute to a collaborative school culture that promotes equity and opportunity for all learners.

Qualifications

• Deep commitment to the mission and closing the opportunity gap.
• Valid North Carolina teaching license, ability to seek reciprocity, or willingness to pursue state certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant content area.

Responsibilities

• Review, internalize, and facilitate KIPP NC adopted curriculum.
• Deliver lessons aligned to NC Standards with fidelity.
• Maintain accurate gradebook and data tracking.
• Develop positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
