Job summary

KIPP North Carolina Public Schools seeks a Lead Teacher to drive rigorous instruction and a positive classroom culture across its NC campuses. You will review and implement scripted curricula, use data to inform teaching, and collaborate with coaches to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant content area.

Responsibilities

• Review, internalize, and facilitate KIPP NC adopted & scripted curriculum.
• Practice lesson delivery to execute curriculum at a high level with fidelity to pacing guides.
• Create exemplar responses and documents for student accountability.
• Use assessment data to drive instruction and adjust lessons to meet students' needs.
• Maintain accurate gradebooks, records, and data tracking systems.
• Develop positive relationships with students, families, teachers and staff through regular communication and attendance at events.
• Participate in daily school functions including arrival, advisory, lunch, recess and dismissal.
