Job summary

KIPP North Carolina is hiring a Lead Teacher to deliver KIPP-adopted curricula and support student growth across K-12. You will plan and implement instruction, maintain gradebooks, and collaborate with coaches and families.

Responsibilities include using assessments to guide instruction, delivering prepared lessons, and upholding school culture and expectations. A NC license with reciprocity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant content area.
• Valid North Carolina teaching license, ability to seek reciprocity, or willingness to pursue state certification.

Responsibilities

• Review, internalize, and facilitate KIPP NC adopted & scripted curriculum.
• K-8 Math: Open Up Resources; K-8 ELA: Fish Tank; K-8 Science: Amplify; 9-12 English & History: AP For All Curriculum.
• Practice lesson delivery to meet pacing guides with fidelity; use assessments to drive instruction.
