Job summary

KIPP North Carolina is seeking a Lead Teacher to deliver rigorous KIPP-adopted curricula for grades K-12 across NC. You will plan instruction, monitor progress, and keep gradebooks while fostering a positive classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant content area is required
• Valid North Carolina teaching license or ability to pursue state certification
• Criminal background check required
• Demonstrated commitment to closing the opportunity gap
• Enthusiasm, grit, professionalism, and a sense of humor

Responsibilities

• Review, internalize, and facilitate KIPP NC adopted & scripted curriculum
• Deliver instruction following pacing guide with fidelity
• Maintain accurate gradebook, records, and data tracking
• Develop positive relationships with students, families, teachers and staff
• Attend required events and participate in school duties as needed
