Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant content area.
• Valid North Carolina teaching license or reciprocity.
• Pass Criminal Background Check.
• Commitment to closing the opportunity gap.
• Ability to stand and actively monitor classrooms 8+ hours daily.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more as necessary.
• Preferred: 2+ years of K-12 teaching experience.
• Preferred: Fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Review, internalize, and facilitate KIPP NC adopted & scripted curriculum.
• K-8 Math: Open Up Resources; K-8 ELA: Fish Tank; K-8 Science: Amplify & NC-aligned materials.
• 9-12 English & History: AP For All Curriculum; 9-12 Math & Science: KIPP NC materials.
• Deliver lessons with fidelity to pacing guides and maintain accurate gradebooks and data.
