Job summary

Ross A. Lurgio Middle School is seeking a full-time paraprofessional to assist students under the direction of a special education teacher. The role focuses on educational activities and supporting non-teaching tasks outlined in students' plans.

Qualifications

• Assist students under supervision of a special education teacher
• Follow individualized education plans (IEPs) under guidance
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment

Responsibilities

• Assist and support assigned special education student(s) with educational activities
• Support non-teaching tasks outlined in students' plans
• Work under the direction of a special education teacher

Education

High School Diploma

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Paraprofessional Certification NH Dept. of Education (a plus)
