This role requires an Associates/Technical degree and relevant cook supervision experience, with Level 4 Certification expected within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Associates/Technical degree and considerable experience working as a cook and moderate experience working as a cook supervisor, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• School Nutrition Association Level 4 Certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
• MN Food Manager Certificate required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises food service employees and oversees cafeteria operations.
• Opens kitchen and sets up equipment for serving.
• Trains personnel in operational procedures and maintains records and time sheets.
• Orders food and supplies and prepares food orders as needed.
• Provides customer service to students, staff, and the public.
