Job summary

Harding Township School is seeking a Middle School Math teacher on leave of absence to cover a defined period. The role focuses on delivering a rigorous curriculum, assessing student progress, and facilitating small-group instruction when needed.

The candidate will collaborate with grade-level staff, maintain records and participate in district testing programs, contributing to student achievement and attendance tracking.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, with differentiation by learning styles.
• Knowledge of middle school curriculum and concepts, across all taught subjects.
• Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and action planning.
• Ability to use computer network systems and software applications as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers middle school curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and differentiates instruction.
• Maintains accurate records, grading and reporting for student activities and attendance.
• Coordinates with middle school staff to evaluate and assess curriculum; participates in meetings.
• Administers standardized tests as part of district programs.
