Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for subject/level assigned.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned.
• Present the subject matter according to TEA guidelines.
• Use data to plan instructional strategies and accommodate student needs.
• Modify curricula with special education staff as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to plan and implement instructional goals.
• Supervise teacher aides/volunteers as needed.
• Incorporate technology to enhance learning.
• Monitor student progress with formative and summative assessments.
