Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid Texas teaching certificate for subject/level assigned.

• Able to instruct students and manage behavior with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent with technology use and actively integrates technology to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum plans for the assigned program and show written evidence of preparation.
• Present the subject matter according to TEA guidelines, board policies, and administrative regulations.
• Use data to plan and implement instructional strategies that reflect individual student needs (IEP/504/bilingual).
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed for IEP compliance.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers when working with students.
• Utilize technology to strengthen teaching and learning processes.
• Monitor student achievement through formative and summative assessments.
• Support extracurricular activities as assigned and serve as a positive role model.
