Education Management & Networks, Inc. (EMAN) partners with New Dawn Academy in Sterling Heights, Michigan to hire a Middle School Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
You will support a diverse student body, including English language learners, helping them build math skills and college readiness with a focus on problem-solving and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Math (EX) 6-12 endorsement preferred.
- Willing to pursue certification via Michigan ITC pathway.

Responsibilities
- Teach Middle School Math to a diverse student population, including English language learners.
- Foster a positive classroom environment and strong student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and leaders to support student growth and college readiness.

New Dawn Academy is hiring for the 2026–2027 school year. You'll do more than teach core subjects: you'll help students from diverse backgrounds, including English language learners, build the skills and confidence to get to college and beyond.
Certification: A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Math (EX) 6-12 Endorsement is preferred. If you're not yet certified but are willing to work toward it, including through Michigan's Interim Teaching Certificate (ITC) pathway, we want to hear from you. We know many strong educators come to the classroom through alternative routes, and we don't want that to be a barrier to applying. EMAN offers a tuition assistance program to assist all teaching staff in attaining certification or pursuing a higher degree in the field of education. We also offer mentoring within their first 3 years of teaching and professional development onsite for all staff by dedicating every Friday afternoon to professional development.
