New Dawn Academy is hiring for the 2026–2027 school year. You'll do more than teach core subjects: you'll help students from diverse backgrounds, including English language learners, build the skills and confidence to get to college and beyond.
A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an Arabic (Modern Standard) (FK) K-12 Endorsement is preferred. If you’re not yet certified but are willing to work toward it, including through Michigan's Interim Teaching Certificate (ITC) pathway, we want to hear from you. We know many strong educators come to the classroom through alternative routes, and we don't want that to be a barrier to applying. EMAN offers a tuition assistance program to assist all teaching staff in attaining certification or pursuing a higher degree in the field of education. We also offer mentoring within their first 3 years of teaching and professional development onsite for all staff by dedicating every Friday afternoon to professional development.
