Job summary

Silicon Valley International School (INTL) is seeking a Learning Specialist to join the middle school learning support team for the 2026-2027 year. The role involves providing push-in, pull-out, individual, or small-group support to students with learning differences, and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families.

The ideal candidate will have DEI experience, knowledge of inquiry-based learning, bilingual education, and current research in special education to guide interventions

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or Education required.
• Two years of successful teaching experience in independent schools preferred.
• Excellence in written and spoken communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students for individual or small-group interventions.
• Administer, review assessments, and develop learning plans with progress data.
• Coordinate with teachers, families, and Student Services for accommodations.
