Qualifications

• New Jersey Elementary School K-6 Certification with Subject Matter Specialization in Language Arts Grades 5-8; or New Jersey English Teacher Certification; or New Jersey Elementary School Teacher Certification K-8
• Knowledge of the NJCCCS, the Common Core Standards, and mandated state testing
• Experience working with elementary students
• Ability to collaborate effectively
• Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community
• Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
