Qualifications

• Valid state high school diploma.
• Ability to manage inschool suspension program.
• Strong verbal and written communication with students, staff, parents.
• Ability to coordinate and maintain attendance and assignment records.

Responsibilities

• Supervises students assigned to the inschool suspension class.
• Implements daily schedule with work, study, breaks, lunch, etc.
• Coordinates routing of assignment sheets among teachers, students and administration.
• Provides direction regarding regular curriculum assignments to be completed.
• Enforces rules and regulations of inschool suspension program.
• Maintains high standard of student conduct and enforces discipline as necessary.
• Maintains contact with inschool suspension students.
• Maintains written attendance records and reports attendance to authorized personnel.
• Provides information on student progress to principal, assistant principal, teachers, counselors.
• Attends conferences between parents and school officials.
• Assumes duties as assigned by principal or assistant principal.
• Participates in staff development programs.
• Performs other duties as directed.
