Responsibilities

• Monitors student behavior in the In-School Suspension classroom; reinforces appropriate behavior and ensures students stay on task.
• Communicates In-School Suspension rules and refers students who violate rules to school admin.
• Assists students with work assignments; collects homework as needed and reinforces learning activities.
• Maintains records of student behavior, entry details, and reasons for detention.
• Prepares and forwards program materials; may develop behavior modification resources.
• Supports staff by sharing information and participating in staff meetings as requested.
