Qualifications

• Two years of experience in an educational setting working with adolescents or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate and interact with students in a disciplined setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, plans and directs day-to-day operation of the in-school suspension program.
• Provides an alternative to home suspension and motivates students to resolve problems impacting performance.
• Reports to the Principal or Assistant Principal as assigned.
• Intervenes with students in crisis to manage behavior and facilitate progress.
• Maintains attendance records and other required reports.

Education

Bachelor's degree in education or related field
