Job Description
General Education Middle focuses on K12-powered virtual middle schools with 6-8 programs offering courses in English, mathematics, the physical sciences, history, world languages, art, music, and remedial programs. Responsible for relationship building with families, students, and learning coaches to ensure that all students are progressing successfully through the program. Bachelor’s degree, 0-1 year of related professional experience.
Teaching Certification Required: Appropriate current Oklahoma Middle School English certification.
Residency Requirements: Must reside in Oklahoma.
The Middle School English teacher is a highly qualified, state-certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. Middle School ELA teachers provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs. They monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system and work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to achieve learning goals. Teachers typically work from home but may travel occasionally for school functions.

We seek passionate educators for Insight School of Oklahoma (ISOK), which aims to provide an engaging, individualized educational experience through a rigorous curriculum and strong community partnerships. Student success is measured by assessment data, satisfaction, and growth.
This is a full-time position requiring independent work, typically 40+ hours per week, from a professional home office during 8 am – 5 pm.
Salary is based on education, experience, and market factors, typically in the lower half of the range. Benefits are commensurate with the position.
