Comstock Public Schools is seeking an English Language Arts Teacher for Comstock Middle School, available August 24, 2026. This position requires a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in English and ESL.

Qualifications

Salary

Dependent on years of teaching experience and certification. Salary scale starting at $43,905. Will honor 100% of prior full‑time teaching years.

• Pursue professional development that supports improved classroom practice
• Develop rigorous lesson plans driven by student assessment
• Use formative assessment to analyze progress toward student goals
• Ensure that students display knowledge of grade‑level content standards
• Champion and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Other duties as assigned by administration
