Comstock Park is seeking candidates who display a strong desire and ability to make an impact on students and the greater community both within and outside of the classroom.
Four-year degree in the area of major study.
Meets all requirements for Highly Qualified.
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in area of study required.
Endorsements - K-5 Elementary Endorsement / NS K-12 - ESL
Fluent in Spanish (Reading,Writing and Speaking)
Preference given to any individual possessing dual certifications.
Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program; ability to plan and implement lessons based on district and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers and parents; skill in oral and written communication. Ability to operate a personal computer and related software.
The final candidate for this position will be required (at their cost) to furnish the district with a current Michigan State Police and FBI criminal records LiveScan check prior to our recommendation to hire.
