Job summary

Sanford Middle School is seeking a full-time English/Language Arts Interventionist to support literacy development for students in grades 5 and 6, aligned with the school's MTSS framework.

You will deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions, provide push-in classroom support, help facilitate MTSS meetings and professional development, and collaborate closely with teachers, staff and families to boost growth.

Qualifications

• Appropriate teaching certification required for middle school.
• Experience with literacy instruction and MTSS frameworks.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 literacy interventions for students.
• Deliver push-in classroom support in collaboration with classroom teachers.
• Participate in and facilitate MTSS process and team meetings.
• Support instructional coaching and model effective literacy instruction.
• Assist in professional development opportunities for staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and families to support learners.
