Job summary

Bendle Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Counselor to support the academic, social-emotional, and personal development of students. The role involves delivering comprehensive guidance programs, group counseling, and assisting with scheduling and post-secondary planning.

The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and have experience with master scheduling, data-driven guidance, and FERPA/ASCA standards. Evening conferences may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in School Counseling is required.
• Valid State School Counselor License or Certification (K–12 or Middle Level) is required.
• Experience with middle school populations and master scheduling is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver whole-class and small-group SEL lessons and group counseling.
• Create and manage school schedules and guide course planning.
• Lead post-secondary exploration and ability to connect current work to future options.
• Engage families and the community through evening conferences and events.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and support staff to implement PBIS and MTSS.
