Job summary

Qualifications

• CT School Counselor certification/eligibility required.
• Master’s degree in school counseling required.
• Knowledge of evidence-based counseling practices and ASCA/NACAC guidelines.
• Membership in state/national school counseling organizations valued.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate school counseling interventions to support academic, career, and social-emotional development.
• Provide classroom, group, and individual counseling.
• Collaborate with teachers, school social workers, and school psychologists for student success.
• Coordinate with families and community resources to support equity and access.
