Responsibilities

• Counsel groups or individuals; develop educational and career plans.
• Counsel students with problems and refer to resources as needed.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to meet students' developmental needs.
• Provide classroom counseling in coordination with administration and teachers.
• Respond to crisis situations when appropriate.
• Assist in standardized test administration.
• Provide personal and group counseling to support student well-being.
• Interpret post-secondary opportunities and career information for students.
