Job summary

CollegeBound Foundation is seeking a Middle School College Access Program Specialist to promote college awareness and coordinate early postsecondary advisory services within the assigned middle school. You will liaise with faculty, parents, and community groups to support students’ college readiness and access strategies.

The role includes developing individualized advising plans, facilitating workshops, and assisting with data collection and reporting for program effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with adolescents preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with school faculty, PTOs, and community organizations supporting the school.
  • Support middle school students in early college access activities and exposure to pre-college programs.
  • Assist the school counselor with tasks related to high school choice process.
  • Develop individualized advising plans for grades 6-12.
  • Provide students with postsecondary test resources and test prep.
  • Nominate qualified students for awards, scholarships, and opportunities.
  • Conduct group workshops using CollegeBound Foundation advising modules.
  • Participate in community outreach and education on college access.
  • Analyze data related to outreach activities, surveys, and applications.
