Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with a CTE license or a Master’s in School Counseling with license, plus NC licensure requirements. Work is on CMS premises with full-time, 10-month scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and current teaching license in CTE or related field.
• Master's degree in School Counseling or Career Counseling with active license.
• NC teaching license with the 747 CDC area requirement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate 5th-8th CTE career development activities.
• Research and provide career information to increase student awareness.
• Coordinate career assessments for 5th-8th graders.
• Develop partnerships with parents, business, and postsecondary entities.
• Meet accountability metrics set by the CTE department.
• Collaborate with school staff to deliver career readiness activities.
