Position: MiddleSchool Cafeteria Helper

Monday - Friday

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Student days only

Job Summary:

To work together with the lead server in preparation and serving of quality food to students and staff.

Job Requirements:

• 1. High SchoolDiploma
• 2. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• 3. Willingness to work as part of a team of professionals in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Prepare foods to be served for breakfast and/or lunch.
• 2. Assist with dishes, and general clean up of the dish area and other work areas as needed.
• 3. Run register.
• 4. Sweep and mop floors.
• 5. Ability to work in and contribute to a team-based environment.
• 6. Use POS system to deduct breakfast and/or lunches from accounts, and make student and staff deposits.
• 7. Help complete daily production records for foods prepared.
• 8. Fill orders as needed.
• 9. Follow all safety and sanitation requirements daily.
• 10. Clean and sanitize equipment daily and at the end of the school year.
• 11. Ability to fill in for otherpositionsif needed.
• 12. Responsible for any other related duties orjobsassigned by the Food Service Director and Head Server.
