Beagle Middle School in Grand Ledge, Michigan, is seeking two dedicated individuals to join our athletic department as Middle School Boys Basketball Coach for the upcoming season. The role focuses on fundamentals, teamwork and creating an inclusive, positive environment for student-athletes.

The coaches will plan practices, develop game strategies, and mentor players, with emphasis on safety and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at middle or high school level.
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, rules and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate students and engage parents.
• Ability to work with students, parents and school staff in a collaborative environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before season).
• Commitment to a safe and inclusive environment for all players.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during the season.
