The Academy of Dover Charter School is seeking a Middle School Girls Basketball Coach to lead the team for the winter season and develop players' skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and organize daily practice plans.
• Adapt and modify coaching techniques, strategies and game plans.

• Provide an atmosphere conducive to good sportsmanship and player conduct.
• Comply with DIAA and Academy policies and regulations.
• Communicate season information to players, parents/guardians and administrators.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and uniforms.
• Oversee athlete and facility safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in coaching middle school basketball.
• Must demonstrate a firm knowledge of DIAA rules and regulations.
• Employment with the Academy of Dover is contingent upon successful completion of:
• Criminal Background Check
• Child Protection Registry
• TB Test
• Verification of Credentials and Past Employment
• Adherence to Academy Policies and Procedures

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITY

• Plan, implement and organize daily practice plans.

• Complies with all DIAA and Academy policies and regulations.

• Maintain and inventory all equipment and uniforms.
• Oversee the safety of the athletes and facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned in relation to the position.
