Job summary

aa210 is seeking an Associate Principal to provide instructional leadership and campus-wide supervision at a middle or high school. The role includes acting for the principal in their absence, supervising assistant principals, faculty, and staff, and leading district-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities include analyzing data to raise student achievement, coordinating curriculum, developing the Campus Improvement Plan, managing the master schedule, and ensuring a safe, orderly learning

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Valid Texas Mid-Management or Principal Certification.
• AEL/ILD/ILT certificate or equivalent; must be obtained within 3 months.
• Board Approved T-TESS Certification; must be obtained within 3 months.
• 2+ years campus-level admin experience as an assistant principal or dean.
• 2+ years classroom teaching experience.
• Demonstrates ethical leadership and commitment to growth.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to interpret data and inform decisions.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional leadership for the campus and analyze data to raise student achievement.
• Coordinate and implement the district-approved curriculum in all courses.
• Participate in Campus Improvement Plan development and related activities.
• Develop campus staff development and supervise staff performance.
• Monitor student behavior and attendance; enforce discipline rules.
• Develop and maintain the master schedule; act for the principal when needed.
• Lead school/community relations and coordinate campus functions.
• Supervise instructional and non-instructional staff; support hiring and evaluation.
