Qualifications

• Master’s degree and three years of classroom experience required.
• Massachusetts Principal/Assistant Principal Certification covering Grades 5-8.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience in public education at elementary/middle school level preferred.
• Experience teaching or related experience supporting elementary level individuals with Special Needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model compassion, understanding and empathy
• Design and implement professional development
• Review school data and provide trends to administration, staff and students
• Facilitate 504/SST/RTI Meetings
• Oversee student discipline procedures and restorative practices
• Plan and implement state and local testing schedules
• Work collaboratively with staff to improve instruction, and other practices
• Attend before/after school related events
• Collaborate daily with administration
