Qualifications

• NH Certification Endorsement for Principal required.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in establishing and maintains an effective learning climate in the school.
• Plans, organizes and directs implementation of school activities.
• Maintains open communication with the Principal regarding school activities, issues, events, and routine matters.
• Makes recommendations concerning the school's administration and instruction.
• Assists in the preparation and administration of the school budget and finances.
• Supervises the maintenance of all required building records and reports.
• Prepares or supervises the preparation of reports, records, lists and other paperwork.
• Collaborates with central administrative staff on transportation and special services.
• Shares the responsibility of implementation/observance of Board policies and regulations by staff and students.
• Assists in scheduling classes within guidelines to meet student needs and state/federal requirements.
• Maintains active relationships with students and parents.
• Assists in curriculum development, revision, and evaluation.
• Supervises the guidance program to enhance student education and development.
• Maintains high standards of student conduct and enforces discipline as necessary.
• Attends special events to recognize student achievement and school activities.
• Supervises records on student progress and attendance.
• Participates in Assistant Principals' meetings and administrative team meetings.
• Responds to information requests and serves on committees.
• Assists in nurse roles when needed for medication distribution.
