Job summary

South Asian Youth Action (SAYA) in Elmhurst, NY is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Middle School after-school program. You will support daily operations, coordinate events, manage registrations, and maintain records to ensure a safe and engaging environment for youth.

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 annually. Benefits include PTO starting at 18 days, 10 paid holidays, medical, dental/vision, transit, and retirement plan with employer contributions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and two years of significant experience in education, youth development, or related field.
• Strong computer and database management skills, with MS Office and Google Drive proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Director with daily program operations.
• Oversee recruitment and registration for new and returning students.
• Maintain attendance, intake forms, and emergency contacts; update program data weekly.
• Submit daily meal counts and keep required records compliant.
• Coordinate logistics for events and activities; foster positive relationships with youth and families.
• Assist with staff supervision and collaboration with school administration.
