Job summary

The International School of Boston is looking for two soccer coaches to join our Middle School and High School soccer programs for the upcoming fall season.

We seek coaches who will contribute to the continued development of our soccer program and provide students with a positive, engaging environment to improve individually and collectively.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English; French is a plus.
• Previous soccer coaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the game and player development.
• Ability to plan and lead structured, varied training sessions.
• Ability to organize sessions around a clear idea of how the team should play.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Some afternoon availability for game days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct soccer practices for Middle School and High School.
• Plan varied, engaging training sessions that keep students active and motivated.
• Support game day events and help coordinate schedules when needed.

We are looking for coaches who are interested in contributing to the continued development of our soccer program, while providing our students with a positive and engaging environment in which they can improve individually and collectively.

What we are looking for

• Ability to communicate effectively in English; French is a plus
• Previous soccer coaching experience
• Good knowledge of the game and an interest in player development
• Ability to plan and lead structured, varied, and engaging training sessions that keep students active and motivated
• Ability to organize sessions around a clear idea of how the team should play
• Good communication and organizational skills
• A positive approach and the ability to work with students of different levels
• Some afternoon availability, particularly on game days

Schedule

• Middle School: practices primarily in the afternoon
• High School: practices primarily in the evening, with a Saturday morning practice
• Some games require an early departure from school, usually around 2:00 p.m.

Season: Early September to early November

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts
