Community Regional Charter School is accepting applications for a teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year.
Community Regional Charter School is seeking to add a highly engaging, flexible, creative, and future-focused learning facilitator (teacher) to our team. CRCS is located in rural central Maine and will educate approximately 400 learners ages 4-20 in a Mass Customized Learning environment.
The ideal candidate would hold a 7-12 certificate in Math. If you have interest but questions about certification, please let me know and I can help! CHRC is required.
We educate learners to become practical problem solvers. We believe that if learners can imagine something, they can learn to design it and they can create it. Through this process, learners can gain knowledge of the same learning targets that are traditionally taught in books and through lectures. Our facilitators implement design thinking concepts to develop learning experiences that incorporate STEAM concepts that personalize learning while meeting learning targets. Prior experience in a school would be preferred but we are open to having our campus be the first educational experience for highly-skilled, dynamic teachers who believe in this mission and vision.
We are looking for dynamic facilitators (teachers) to join our team! Ideal candidates for these positions should have the desire to work collaboratively with a team of innovative educators using an interdisciplinary approach and must be committed to providing learners with customized learning opportunities within a standards-based program.
Overman Academy strives to be community-centered and uncompromisingly learner-focused. Serving learners between the ages of 12 and 20, we build real-world learning opportunities that include community involvement, future-focused skills, and rigorous content standards. This new school will be in its fifth year of operation and has a dedicated team who are developing an integrated program that meets the emotional, social, and academic needs of learners.
