Cambridge Public Schools is seeking a Middle School OST Network Assistant Manager to lead a coalition of OST providers, schools, and community partners, ensuring equitable access to year-round enrichment for 6th–8th graders.

Based at CPS Central Office, the role aligns OST with district equity goals, coordinates cross-sector teams, and supports families in navigating OST opportunities, with evening/weekend meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience coordinating cross-system intermediaries, districts, or community-based organizations.
• Proven track record working with middle-grade youth (grades 6–8) and families in diverse urban communities.

Responsibilities

• Build Support Systems: establish and oversee case management to connect students with OST programs.
• Facilitate Collaborations: lead cross-partner workflows to identify students and families needing OST resources.
• Provide Direct Assistance: guide students and caregivers in navigating OST opportunities.
• Build Staff Capacity: support staff delivering case management to leverage OST resources.
• Expand Outreach & Awareness: raise awareness of year-round OST opportunities across Cambridge.
• Streamline Placements & Support: coordinate referrals, program placements, and scholarship distribution.
• Embed Equity in District Systems: integrate OST into district equity practices and student support protocols.
• Drive Participation & Retention: boost OST participation for high-need middle school youth.
• Engage & Mobilize Stakeholders: bring together providers, CPS staff, caregivers, and youth to remove access barriers.
