Job summary

Cambridge Public Schools, Office of Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, is seeking a dedicated Middle School-OST Network Assistant Manager to lead a coalition of Cambridge OST providers, schools and community partners.

Based at CPS Central Office, this full-time role coordinates year-round enrichment for 6th–8th graders, prioritizing students and families with the highest need, and advancing equity through coordinated networks, data use, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with cross-system intermediaries, public school districts, municipal departments, or community-based organizations.
  • Proven track record working with middle-grade youth (grades 6–8) and families in diverse urban communities.
  • Deep understanding of youth development, family systems, OST programs, and school operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written communication, and group facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and working effectively across diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Support Students and Families: Build support systems, facilitate collaborations, and provide direct assistance to navigate OST opportunities.
  • Increase Equitable Access to OST Opportunities: Build staff capacity, expand outreach, streamline placements, and embed equity in district systems.
  • Sustain and Grow the Network: Broaden stakeholder engagement, coordinate events, drive governance, and facilitate meetings.
  • Communicate to Stakeholders: Develop OST resources, manage communications, and promote program awareness.
  • Manage and Use Data: Promote data sharing, analyze needs and trends, leverage best practices, and monitor outcomes.
  • Contribute as a Teammate: Collaborate with AFCOST leadership and cross-district teams, supporting safety nets and aligned efforts.
