Job summary

XGS is seeking a warehouse dockworker in Batavia, IL to load and unload freight, sort products, and ensure accurate trailer loading. You will use a barcode scanner and operate pallet jacks or forklifts to keep the dock orderly.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with a 12 PM start and a pay rate of $20.97 per hour. Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience, the ability to read work orders, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months experience

• Able to meet minimum hiring criteria and be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from delivery trucks
• Load/unload using lift truck, pallet jack, or side cart
• Read barcodes and verify freight movements
• Record and route freight to racks or doors
• Inspect merchandise for damage and quality
• Sort and segregate freight by destination
• Maintain dock area neat and orderly
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
