A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level Associate Attorney to join its Energy, Infrastructure & Project Finance team. The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in project development, finance, or M&A within the energy sector and be ready to handle substantive client responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-growing field.

Duties

• Represent sponsors, developers, and financing parties in renewable energy project development, acquisition, and financing.
• Draft and negotiate project development and operational contracts, including EPC Contracts, Supply Agreements, Offtake Agreements, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Agreements.
• Draft and review ancillary financing documents for project finance transactions, M&A transactions, and tax equity and debt structuring.
• Coordinate with clients and third-party advisors throughout transaction processes.
• Provide legal advice on strategic transactions across various renewable energy technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience focused on the energy industry.
• Prior experience at a recognized law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong background in at least one of the following: energy-related M&A, project finance, tax equity, or structured finance.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and maintain client relationships.

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a top-tier, accredited law school.

Certifications

Admission to and good standing with the state bar of the candidate’s residence.
