Duties:

Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters

Develop and implement sophisticated estate plans and family office structures

Administer, decant, and modify complex trusts

Provide planning strategies involving business interests, art, and other special assets

Draft estate planning documents and related transactional materials

Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and jurisdictions

Requirements:

2 to 8 years of relevant transactional experience in trust and estate planning

Proven experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families

Strong academic background

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

LL.M. in Taxation preferred but not required

Certifications:

Admission to the bar in the relevant state(s) where the position is based

Skills:
