This position is onsite in Loudoun County. Onsite requirement is 4-5 days a week but could vary based on client need.
Qualifications for Success
- 4+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
- Bachelor's, Associate's, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience managing critical environment projects (data centers, labs, hospitals, etc.)
- MEP experience in ground-up construction
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

What You’ll Be Doing (and Why You’ll Love It)
- The MGAC Critical Environments team specializes in construction management for data centers and hospitals, ensuring project success as industry experts hired by our clients.
- As owner’s representatives, we clarify complex issues, manage conflicts, and advise on matters outside the owner’s knowledge, helping inform decisions to keep projects on track.
- As a Project Manager, you will lead high-visibility, career-advancing projects.
- You’ll be an integral part of the team, mentoring, leading, and managing schedule, scope, and budget.
- Our East Coast project work is expanding, with a strong portfolio and a growing pipeline.
- Manage full scope projects independently and oversee components of others.
- Work autonomously and execute projects self-sufficiently.
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Maintain the client’s vision as a trusted partner.
- Lead risk management, contingency planning, and schedule/budget recovery.
- Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.
- Foster collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors, vendors, and teams.
- Anticipate project and team risks; solve complex challenges and conflicts.

Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000 annually
Note: Salary is broad and depends on experience, expertise, and location. It does not include potential bonuses, 401(k) matching up to 8%, and other benefits.
