Our success is rooted in hiring exceptional people who are driven to do challenging work with the unique blend of experience, integrity, creativity, and commitment that separates us from our competitors.

We have three simple goals: to do the most interesting and challenging work, to have fun working together, and to build a successful business in the process.

This position is onsite in Loudoun County. Onsite requirement is 4-5 days a week but could vary based on client need.

Qualifications for Success
  • 4+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
  • Bachelor's, Associate's, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience managing critical environment projects (data centers, labs, hospitals, etc.)
  • MEP experience in ground-up construction
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ambitious construction and project management focused, seeking a modern and energetic business that will empower your career growth.
What You’ll Be Doing (and Why You’ll Love It)
  • The MGAC Critical Environments team specializes in construction management for data centers and hospitals, ensuring project success as industry experts hired by our clients.
  • As owner’s representatives, we clarify complex issues, manage conflicts, and advise on matters outside the owner’s knowledge, helping inform decisions to keep projects on track.
  • As a Project Manager, you will lead high-visibility, career-advancing projects.
  • You’ll be an integral part of the team, mentoring, leading, and managing schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Our East Coast project work is expanding, with a strong portfolio and a growing pipeline.
  • Manage full scope projects independently and oversee components of others.
  • Work autonomously and execute projects self-sufficiently.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Maintain the client’s vision as a trusted partner.
  • Lead risk management, contingency planning, and schedule/budget recovery.
  • Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors, vendors, and teams.
  • Anticipate project and team risks; solve complex challenges and conflicts.
Why Work With Us?
  • With over 28 years in North America and longer in the UK, we are at an exciting growth stage, with a vibrant, supportive culture.
  • We are recognized as a Top Workplace, with a strong employee-first culture. We can share many examples of this culture in action.
  • Founded on an entrepreneurial spirit, we encourage innovative approaches to deliver exceptional outcomes and exceed client expectations.
  • As a global yet nimble company, we provide personalized care that larger competitors often cannot match.
  • Your voice and ideas are valued here. Our flat hierarchy ensures open communication with leadership, and your contributions are recognized in reviews and appraisals.
  • We promote wellness and work/life balance, offering PTO, mental health support, and comprehensive benefits.
  • And we’re fun! Deep laughter and a positive atmosphere are part of our daily culture.
Beyond the Paycheck: Explore Our Benefits!
  • Recognized as a Top Workplace by The Washington Post, reflecting our commitment to a collaborative environment.
  • Our benefits include vacation accrual starting at 10 hours/month, a birthday day off, sick leave, 9 paid holidays, and more. Visit our careers page for details: www.mgac.com.
Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000 annually
