This position is onsite in Loudoun County. Onsite requirement is 4-5 days a week but may vary based on client needs.

Unlock Your Potential: Qualifications for Success
  • 4+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
  • Bachelor's, Associate's degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience managing critical environment projects (data centers, labs, hospitals, etc.)
  • MEP experience in ground-up construction.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ambitious construction and project management focus, seeking a modern and energetic business that will support your career growth.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll love it)
  • The MGAC Critical Environments team specializes in construction management for building data centers and hospitals. They are industry experts hired by our clients to ensure project success.
  • As owner’s representatives, we clarify complex issues, manage conflicts, and advise on matters outside the owner’s knowledge, helping them make informed decisions to keep projects on track.
  • As a Project Manager at MGAC, you will lead high-visibility, career-building projects.
  • You’ll be an integral part of the team, mentoring, leading, and managing schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Our East Coast project work is expanding. We have a strong local portfolio and a growing pipeline with numerous opportunities.
  • Manage full scope of projects independently and oversee components of others.
  • Work autonomously and execute projects with self-sufficiency.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Maintain the client’s vision as a trusted partner.
  • Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery.
  • Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors/GCs, vendors, and teams.
  • Anticipate project and team risks, solve complex challenges, and resolve conflicts.
Why work with us?
  • With over 28 years of history in North America and longer in the UK, we are at an exciting growth stage. Our energy and momentum are palpable, and the supportive culture is evident.
  • We are recognized as a Top Workplace, with a strong employee-first culture. We can share many examples of this culture in action.
  • Founded on an entrepreneurial spirit, we encourage innovation to deliver outcomes that exceed client expectations.
  • As a global yet nimble company, we provide personalized care that larger competitors struggle to match.
  • Your ideas and efforts are valued, with an open-door policy among leadership. We foster a positive culture and recognize contributions in reviews and appraisals.
  • We promote wellness and work/life balance, offering PTO, cutting-edge benefits, mental health support, and more.
